Changgo
Fish clouds swirling through a boulder corridor

Changgo is a small rocky pinnacle east of Kawe Island that looks like little from the surface. Below, a reef corridor with shifting currents draws massive schools of big-eyed jacks, barracuda, batfish and pinjalo snapper. Divers come for the fish clouds and the boulder terrain with its tunnels and swim-throughs.

The dive
The site is piled with huge boulders, with hidden tunnels and swim-throughs at 15 to 20 m that make a maze for divers, often hidden behind dense fish clouds. Depths run from about 5 m at the shallowest boulders and coral patches to beyond 30 m.
