A rock reef that extends from 7 m straight down to 70 m, listed for all levels because its top is shallow, with mild currents that usually prevail and make the dive more demanding than the depth alone suggests. Large groupers, sea bass, parrotfish, octopus, wrasses and combers are the residents.

The dive

Nemesis starts at 7 m and does not stop until 70 m, and that single fact shapes the dive: there is no natural floor within recreational range, so the profile is fixed before the descent. The operator lists it for all levels, which is true of the top of the reef; the deeper the plan, the more the site changes character. You drop onto the rock at the shallow end and follow it down to the depth you have agreed.

Mild underwater currents usually prevail here, enough, in the operator's words, to make the dive a bit more demanding, so expect to work along the rock rather than hang in front of it. The fish are the draw: large groupers on the ledges, sea bass and parrotfish above the reef, octopus in the holes, with wrasses and combers in between. The turn comes on gas or depth, and the ascent runs back up the same rock to finish near the 7 m top.
