Brimstone Reef
Coral formations sloping from 15 m (50 ft) to 40 m (130 ft)
Brimstone Reef is one of the most popular dive sites off St. Kitts, a few minutes from the harbour, with coral formations, sponges and plants and good visibility most of the time. The reef top lies at 15–18 m (50–60 ft) and the slope below it reaches 40 m (130 ft), so divers of different experience can each pick a depth that suits them.

The dive
The dive begins on the top of the reef at 15–18 m (50–60 ft), then follows the slope down toward 40 m (130 ft) in a usually mild current. Schools of creole wrasse and horse-eye jacks swim along the reef, and morays hide in its coral formations.
