Coconut Reef
Nurse and reef sharks along a sloping reef and wall
Coconut Reef is one of the largest reefs off St. Kitts, big enough to be dived at five different spots, with coral, sponges and plants ringed by white sand strips. Its slope and wall are known for larger animals, with nurse and reef sharks among the regular sights, and the current is usually mild.

The dive
The dive starts on the reef at about 12 m (40 ft), which slopes down to 24 m (80 ft) before it breaks into a wall that ends at 34 m (110 ft). Visibility is usually good, and barracuda, lobsters, rays, turtles, and nurse and reef sharks are common along the way.
