Cueva de Radazul
A cavern entrance at 49 m below a barracuda-covered cliff
Ten minutes off the coast at Radazul, a cliff of rock stands in the middle of a sandy area with its top at 32 metres, and its deepest part, at 49, holds the entrance to a cavern about 10 metres deep. Both the entrance and the interior are large. A shoal of big barracuda usually sits over the reef, and amberjacks pass through.

The dive
The run from the coast is ten minutes, and the drop is onto a cliff standing in the middle of a sandy area with its top at 32 metres. As soon as you get to the reef the first thing you usually see is the shoal of large barracuda that frequents it, sitting over the structure. From there the rock falls away below you.
The cavern is in the deepest part, at 49 metres, and runs about 10 metres back; both the entrance and the interior are quite large, which is what makes it divable rather than a squeeze — but 49 metres under an overhead is a planned decompression dive, not a look around on the way past. Amberjacks pass through the area in schools. Divers not equipped for the cavern still get the barracuda and the top of the cliff at 32 metres.
