Divers' memorials on a sand slope at 25 metres
A sloping sandy bottom at around 25 metres on the east coast, next to the El Peñón wreck, holding a collection of memorials placed for divers. Barracuda and damselfish meet you on arrival, arrow crabs and lizardfish work the sand, and an angel shark or a stingray turns up on it now and then.

The dive
The site is located near the El Peñón wreck and is dived at around 25 metres on a sloping sandy bottom. What sets it apart from the sand either side of it is what has been put there: a collection of memorials to divers, which is where the name comes from and what the route is built around.
The fish come to meet you rather than the other way round, and barracuda and damselfish are usually the first thing on arrival. Down on the ground it is a slower search — arrow crabs and lizardfish sit still and take finding, and now and then an angel shark or a stingray turns up on the sand, which is the sighting worth slowing right down for. The memorials themselves are what shape the route across the slope.
