Pyramid-shaped structures, one under Dendronephthya soft coral
The Pyramids is a deep site off the sandy beach of Jbeil, the Arabic name for Byblos. Its seabed is set with several pyramid-like structures, and one of them carries a growth of Dendronephthya, a soft coral that is only starting to settle in Mediterranean waters. It is an advanced dive.

The dive
The dive is spent on the bottom at an average depth of 38 m, moving from one pyramid-like structure to the next across the seabed. One of the pyramids is covered in Dendronephthya, a soft coral that is starting to inhabit the Mediterranean, and it is the most remarkable marine life on the site.
