Agajjam
A first-dive seabed five minutes by boat from Sacheon Port
Agajjam is a shallow point just off Sacheon Port on the Gangneung coast, close enough that the boat ride is over almost as soon as it starts. Its modest depth makes it a place where newcomers to diving take their first look at the East Sea seabed.
Where it is and how deep

The dive
Divers descend from the boat to the seabed at Agajjam, which lies at 13 m (42.6 ft). Trainees put what they learned in class into practice here, exploring for about 30 minutes before gathering on the bottom for a group photo. The seabed is sand, and fins kicked close to it raise sand that quickly spoils the visibility.
