Coral and sea pines on a reef with a descent line
Haejung Gongwon, the Underwater Park point, is a coral-and-sea-pine reef off Gangneung on the East Sea coast of Gangwon Province. It lies close to Sacheon Port and has a descent line, which makes it a convenient point for training dives, with the bottom at about 24 m.
Also known as Gangneung Underwater Park, Hae Jung Kongwon, 해중공원, 해중공원 포인트.

The dive
A descent line marks the point, so divers go down it rather than searching for the reef, which suits instruction. The reef carries coral and sea pines, and the deepest part of the dive reaches about 24 m.
