Blue Cave

The Blue Cave is a natural underwater cave system beneath the limestone cliffs near Agia Efimia and the signature dive of northern Kefalonia. Shafts of light filter through openings in its ceiling and turn the chambers an intense blue, and the dive is open to Open Water divers.

The dive
The cave system opens beneath the limestone cliffs near Agia Efimia, and shafts of light filter through ceiling openings, creating an intense blue illumination inside the cave chambers. The dive goes no deeper than around 20 m, which keeps it within the range of an Open Water certification.
