The Cyclops

The Cyclops is an enormous bell-shaped grotto just off the north of Ithaca. Three small holes in its roof lead into a single cavity about 30 m wide, and the dive is rated advanced, with an exit at 40 m into a large cavern.

The dive
Divers enter through one of 3 small entrances in the roof of the grotto, which lie between 17 and 20 m deep and open up into an immense cavity about 30 m wide. The sandy bottom starts at 32 m, and at 40 m an exit leads into a large cavern. The dive ends with an ascent along an impressive cliff face back to the surface.
