Asteris Island is a reef in the middle of the deep channel that separates Kefalonia from Ithaca, formed by a long rocky crest whose top breaks the surface as the little island of Asteris. Octopus, moray eels and nudibranchs are among the residents.
Also known as Asteris.

The dive
Below the little island the crest drops to 15 m and more, and the dive explores the rock for its sea life: octopus, moray eels and nudibranchs. Many remains from the past also lie on the reef.
