A crack at 12 m rising to a swim-through cave at 6 m

A wall with a bottom of stone blocks between 12 and 22 m that ends in sand, dived when the tramuntana is blowing because the point is protected in that wind. A crack at 12 m rises up the wall into a small cave at 6 m that can be crossed without trouble, and from March to July it fills with lobster.

The dive

The dive runs along the wall, over a bottom of stone blocks between 12 and 22 m that ends in the sand — Orca gives 20 m for the same ground. It is the boat's tramuntana option: the point is protected during that wind, and the operator usually dives it with advanced-level divers on the trip that takes the boat out to Punta del Xeric.

The feature is a crack at 12 m that rises up the wall and leads to a small cave 6 m deep, which can be crossed without problems. In the months from March to July, when the water is colder, that crevice is populated with lobster. The rest of the wall holds spiny lobster, moray, greater forkbeard, grouper, wrasse and octopus, most of them in the holes between the blocks rather than out in the open.
