The house site of the Marsvinet diving club in Middelfart lies close to Snævringen in Lillebælt. A stone reef of 1,000 tons of rock sits right at the club, the rolling seabed stays within 15 m, and the site is easy to reach from the shore and good for macro.
Also known as Diving club Marsvinet, Boulder Reef at Dykkerklubben Marsvinet.
Where it is and how deep
55.5085° N, 9.7216° EApproximate position — the dashed circle shows where the site lies; your operator's briefing has the mooring.
The dive
Divers get in right outside the club, where the depth increases a couple of metres at once and larger rocks carry brown algae. Further out the seabed rises and falls between 6 and 9 m, with gravel patches where flounder and plaice lie, and large sugar kelp and Laminaria hyperborea grow on big rocks.
