Eagle's Nest
A cleaning station at 22 m ends the long ridge

A long ridge at the eastern tip of Pulau Warakaraket, with a cleaning station at 22 m at one end and, at the other, a plateau around 12–15 m whose walls drop to 25–30 m. The site can present strong currents, and the plateau offers multiple places to hook in when it does — reef-hook diving in its plainest Misool form.

The dive
The dive follows the ridge running off the eastern tip of the island. At one end sits a cleaning station at 22 m; at the other, a plateau at around 12–15 m with wall drops falling to 25–30 m. Which end you start from is the guide's call on the day, and the current usually makes the decision for everyone.
When the current runs — and this site can present strong currents — the plateau is where the dive settles: it offers multiple places to hook in if you are hook diving, and holding position beats swimming against the flow. Carry a reef hook, know how to set and release it, and keep your depth honest on the wall sections, where the drops reach 25–30 m.

Season follows Misool: Rough seas July–early September; visibility peaks in November and February–March, baitfish and mobulas arrive September–October, and May–June south winds bring more sharks.

- The site can present strong currents; the plateau offers multiple hook-in points, so carry a reef hook and be practised with it before the dive.
