Five large rock pinnacles under protection since 1993
Banco di Santa Croce is a bank of five large rock pinnacles in the Gulf of Naples, a biological protection zone since 1993. Its main cap tops out at 9 m and its walls, steeper on some sides than others, reach about 50 m.

The dive
The top of the main cap sits at 9 m. From there the walls drop away, gentler on some sides and steeper on others, to about 50 m, and below the main cap the rock carries on to about 60 m.

Season follows Punta Campanella & the Sorrento Coast: Spring and autumn bring the most tuna and yellowtail to Li Galli; the sea warms from 14 °C (57 °F) in February to 26 °C (79 °F) in August.
