Danger d'Algajola lies offshore along the coast northeast of Calvi, and it is a topography dive: drop-offs and underwater canyons worked between 15 and 40 m. The dive

The site is a run of drop-offs and underwater canyons, dived between 15 and 40 m. That structure sets the dive: you follow the canyons and the edges rather than tracking one wall, and the depth you take is a choice, since there is ground to work from 15 m down. Boats run out northeast along the coast from Calvi's Port de Plaisance.

The species list is a Corsican rock one: grouper, moray eel, dentex and barracuda. Grouper and moray belong to the rock and the cracks in it, while dentex and barracuda are more often out in the water off the drop-offs, which makes it worth looking away from the structure now and then. Plan it deep-first along the canyons and work back up onto the shallower rock for the end of the dive.
