Agus is a reef and wall on the Marigondon stretch of Mactan's coast, with diving published from 3 to 40 metres. Large table corals stand on the shallow reef and carry on down over the drop. Its reputation is macro: multiple species of nudibranch make both the reef and the wall face their home.

The dive
The published profile runs from 3 metres out to 40, and the site is dived at whichever end suits the team, which is why the same name turns up on beginner logs and advanced ones. The shallow reef carries large table corals standing clear of the bottom, and it is the part of Agus that stays inside an Open Water plan. Below it the reef turns over into wall, and the table corals carry on down the face into deeper water.
What most divers come for is small. Both the reef and the wall hold multiple species of nudibranch, so the site is worked slowly and close to the rock rather than swum end to end. Teams either stay shallow among the table corals or drop the face toward the 40-metre end and come back up along it, which is the profile that makes the advanced card matter.

Season follows Mactan & Olango: Mar–May, the hot dry season, is the usual window; the Jun–Nov rains cut visibility on the house reefs, and typhoon risk runs highest around Nov–Dec, as Typhoon Rai showed in December 2021.
