Tug 2 is a harbour tug that worked the port of Port Louis before being sunk off Flic en Flac in the 1980s for scuba diving. It lies at only 19 metres, and decades as an artificial reef have covered it in life. Of the wrecks listed on this coast it is by a wide margin the shallowest, and the easiest to fit inside a normal recreational profile.

The dive
At only 19 metres the whole of the wreck is available inside one dive, so gas rather than no-decompression time sets the length and there is no need to ration the bottom phase. Nothing is published about the tug's dimensions, how it lies on the bottom, or whether anything else sits on the sand around it, so what you cover comes from the briefing rather than a plan of the site.
It has been down since the 1980s and carries the life that grows on any artificial reef, so the structure now reads as reef as much as boat. Nothing published covers penetration or an interior route, so plan it as an outside dive. The shallow depth is what makes it the approachable wreck of the group rather than a deep-training objective.
