Angelo Castro
A clear-water reef 100 m offshore below the Aggelokastro castle

Angelo Castro is a reef about 100 m off Corfu's west coast, named for the Aggelokastro castle on the headland above it. It is a straightforward reef dive with a maximum depth of 30 m and visibility that is routinely better than 20 m — a scenic west-coast site dived for its rock terrain rather than any single feature.

The dive
The reef sits just 100 m off the coastline below Aggelokastro, so the site is easy to locate under the castle. The dive works the reef rock from its shallower sections down towards the 30 m maximum, and with visibility routinely over 20 m the structure reads clearly from well above — useful for picking a line before committing depth.
There is no single headline feature here; the appeal is typical west-coast Corfu rock — reef structure in clear water, all of it within recreational depth. Divers with deeper training can use the full site to its 30 m floor, while newer divers keep to the upper reef; either way the profile finishes shallow over the rock before the short ride home.
