Donald's Place, named after a local diver, is a drop-off dive on the Paleokastritsa coast: a cracked, crevassed wall whose best terrain sits between 20 and 25 m, with a maximum depth of 30 m. The attraction is the texture of the rock itself — fissures and tiny caves sheltering fish, with moray eels peering out of the holes.

The dive
Drop onto the wall and work down the face to the band between 20 and 25 m, where the site keeps its best features: the rock here is split by cracks and crevasses, and the tiny caves are where the life concentrates. Colourful fish and moray eels sit in the openings they call home, so move slowly and check each recess as you pass.
The wall bottoms out at 30 m, but there is no need to touch it — the best of the site lies in the 20 to 25 m band, so the dive is naturally a single unhurried pass along the drop-off at that depth. It suits divers already comfortable in the twenties of metres rather than beginners, and photographers get morays framed in the cracks at close range.
