Nissaki Reef
A beach-entry house reef by the Nissaki marina, averaging 12 m

Nissaki Reef is the house reef in front of the small marina at Nissaki: rocks with sand between them, averaging 12 m and reaching 25 m at most, with entry straight off the beach or by boat. With normally no current and visibility that often passes 30 m, it is the area's easiest dive and a natural first Corfu site.

The dive
Entry could not be simpler — walk in off the beach in front of the small marina, or roll off a boat over the site; access is effectively instant either way. The bottom is rocks with sand in between, and the dive settles at an average of about 12 m, working from one rock patch to the next across the sand in typically crystal-clear water.
The site tops out at 25 m, so nothing here pushes past entry-level limits, and with normally no current to manage the reef works for training dives, check dives and easy repeat diving alike. Visibility is often better than 30 m, which makes navigating the rock-and-sand ground straightforward; finish back up the gentle profile to the beach.
