The anchoring is done at 19 metres, and from the anchorage the guide picks one of two routes, both of which work down to about 24. That is the whole shape of the dive: there is no shallow shelf, no run-in from a beach and no way to spend the first ten minutes at six metres, so you are at depth from the descent onwards and the plan is set by gas rather than by the site.

Life on the rock is varied for a dive of this size. Sea bream work the water over the rock, banks of damselfish hang above it, octopus are out on the stone and morays are back in the cracks. In summer seahorses are possible here as well, which is the reason to take the slower of the two routes if the guide offers a choice.

Blanes-Sub lists a deep boat site called Les Tres Punxes, Catalan for the three points, at 30 metres, and both the name and the stretch of coast match this rock — but no source gives the catalogue's 19 to 24 metre profile and that 30 metre figure together. Agree the depth with the centre before you go in rather than assuming the 24 metre bottom is the limit of the day, and take their brief on where the anchor sits, because the anchorage is the reference for the whole dive.
