Kin-Ha is one of the deep sinkholes on the Ruta de los Cenotes from Puerto Morelos, a few hundred metres from Cenote Zapote. An inconspicuous hole in the ground leads to a shaft about 50 m (164 ft) across, and the dive follows the wall inside it.

Also known as Kin Ha, Cenote Kin-Ha.

The dive

A staircase leads down through the hole to a platform in the middle of the water, and the dive starts there. Divers swim to the wall and follow it down to 30 m (98 ft), keeping close to the rock for reference the whole time, since the cenote itself is about 60 m (197 ft) deep. When either the no-decompression limit or the air supply runs out, the group begins a spiral ascent along the same wall back towards the platform.
