A dry rock in the middle of a small bay near Cala Montjoi, with rocky and sandy bottom between 5 and 30 m and a gigantic anchor lying at 21 m with a few links of its chain still attached. The catalogue rates it accessible to all levels, and the shallow ground around the rock gives a long, easy dive with plenty to look at.

The dive
The rock breaks the surface in the middle of a small bay, which makes the site easy to find and easy to orbit: the ground around it runs between 5 and 30 m, rocky in places and sandy in others, and the natural plan is a slow circuit that works deeper on the way out and shallower on the way back. The listing calls it accessible to all levels, and the shallow shoulders are what make that true.
The find is at 21 m, where a gigantic anchor lies on the bottom with a few links of its chain still attached to it. Around the rock the usual residents are out: grouper and sar over the structure, moray eels and octopus in the holes, lobster back under the ledges, and skate on the sand alongside cerianthus anemones and flabellina nudibranchs. Sabellid fan worms and dalmatian dory reward divers who slow down and look at the rock instead of past it.
