A tugboat sunk on purpose as part of Crete's new diving park, sitting at roughly 16 m. Controlled explosions opened the hull before she went down, so the inside is reachable rather than sealed, and currents on the site are minimal. She dives easily on the outside and needs wreck training on the inside.

The dive
The Nestor sits at about 16 m, which puts the whole wreck inside a normal recreational profile: you can circle her, go back over the interesting parts and still surface with gas to spare. Currents on the site are minimal, so the descent is straightforward and the hull stays where you left it in your navigation. Start with a lap of the outside to get the shape of the boat.
She was scuttled deliberately and opened up with controlled explosions before she went down, so the interior is accessible rather than sealed off. That does not make it open water. Inside is still an overhead, with a ceiling between you and the surface, and it wants a line, a torch and a diver who has done it before. Anyone without that training gets plenty from the outside of the hull and the ground around it, which is part of Crete's new diving park.
